Taran in Adventureland
was released on the Amiga years ago and delighted many
children and
adults. Now PC users can finally enjoy Taran's adventures on their
screens.
The Windows version naturally brought with it many new features. All
items or objects
can now interact with one another by simply clicking
the mouse. The Amiga version still
had a parser, which required the user
to type in all actions by hand.
What is it about? The adventure
begins in front of a castle in a kingdom.
However, the king no longer
rules in this kingdom, but dark forces have seized power.
Many of the king's followers and knights have already lost their lives
trying to regain possession of the kingdom's symbols of power. This is
where our hero Taran comes
nto play. Fame, wealth and a beautiful
princess are the reward if Taran succeeds
in freeing the kingdom from
the clutches of the dark power.
